About Us
The Tennessee Pollution Prevention Partnership (TP3) is a network of households, schools, government agencies, organizations, businesses, and industries working together to protect Tennessee’s environment through pollution prevention. TP3 is an important public/private venture that encourages environmental excellence, involves communities in environmental protection, and focuses on measurable results. TP3 is designed to motivate and reward top environmental performance. TP3 members are leading the way to environmental excellence while saving money and improving their productivity. The partnership is achieving this through a systematic approach to managing environmental responsibilities, taking extra steps to reduce and prevent pollution, and being good corporate neighbors. TP3 confirms that pollution prevention protects the environment, saves money, and improves communities.

The Tennessee Pollution Prevention Roundtable (TP2R) is an independent organization of dedicated environmental groups, educational institutions, government agencies and industries whose mission is to facilitate and implement activities designed to achieve significant and meaningful improvements in the quality of the environment of Tennessee and the quality of life for Tennesseans now and for future generations. The spirit of cooperation exhibited by the Roundtable will motivate Tennesseans to work together to achieve meaningful and measurable environmental improvements.

The National Environmental Performance Track ("Performance Track") is a public-private partnership that encourages continuous environmental improvement through environmental management systems, community outreach, and measurable results. Performance Track is based on the premise that government should complement existing programs with new tools and strategies that not only protect people and the environment, but also capture opportunities for reducing cost and spurring technological innovation. EPA provides exclusive regulatory and administrative benefits to Performance Track members, places them at low priority for routine inspections, and offers public recognition, networking opportunities, and other benefits.
